Harlequins name side for Eagles clash

Harlequins have named their side to face the Eagles at PPL Park on Sunday. The Aviva Premiership club have named several of their first choice players, absent a number of internationals on World Cup duty.

Captaining the side is former All Black flyhalf Nick Evans, who will have Samoan international Winston Stanley beside him making his club debut. Marland Yarde is found on the right wing after being left out of the England team, while Italian scrumhalf Tito Tebaldi is among the reserves.

Also on the bench is Wales and Lions tighthead prop Adam Jones. Highly rated youngster Kyle Sinckler starts in the no3 jersey. A dynamic back row unit features for England u20 captain Jack Clifford on the blindside, with England ‘A’ rep Luke Wallace at openside and giant New Zealander Mathew Luamanu, another new signing, at no8.

Among those absent are England captain Chris Robshaw, Fijian back row Netani Talei, and new Australian signing James Horwill who will play for the Wallabies against the Eagles in Chicago.
