Colombia and Venezuela win South American u19 matches

After two rounds the host nation of the South American B u19 championship, Colombia is now the only undefeated team involved in the four nation tournament. Colombia ran out 39-9 winners over Peru on Wednesday evening to advance to the final. The round’s other match saw neighboring Venezuela win 19-12 against Mexico.

Day two results mean that Colombia and Mexico will face-off in the Final on Saturday with the winner being crowned South American B u19 Champion. Venezuela will face Peru in the Bronze final. Peru is the only team yet to win a match.

The winner of the tournament will earn the right to play against Paraguay in a promotion / relegation repechage play-off. Paraguay finished bottom of the South American A u19 tournament which was won by Uruguay. Chile and Brazil were the remaining competitors.
