Costa Rica Announces New Management Team

The annual Gerneral Meeting for 2015 was held at the national premises in Costa Rica, voting in Ramón Cole Ramón Cole as FRCR President of the Committee. Four additional posts were filled by democratic means.

The FRCR has identified future development to spread rugby throughout the country and encourage greater women’s participation and an improved junior program. It is to be done in conjunction with the Costa Rican Institute of Sport and Recreation (ICODER), the National Olympic Committee, Cantonal Committees and the government media institutions.

The Central American republic of Costa Rica is a Sudamérica Rugby member and also a member of World Rugby. The national men’s team plays in Sudámerica C which features other countries from Central America – El Salvador, Guatemala and Panama.
