Uruguay name squad for Japan tour

Los Teros Head Coach has confirmed his 31-man squad for the upcoming two match tour of Japan. The tour is to be Uruguay’s final preparation ahead of the Rugby World Cup. Uruguay will depart for Japan on Thursday, August 14 playing test matches in Fukuoka on August 22 and Tokyo on August 29.

The final list of 31 players for the Rugby World Cup will then be released on August 30, a day after the completion of the tour to Japan. From Japan, the World Cup squad will fly to Spain to play a non-capped international against a Basque XV on September 6, and will face Wales in Cardiff on September 20 on the opening Sunday of the World Cup.
