Jean de Villiers returns as captain to lead a changed Springbkos side for Saturday’s international against Los Pumas in Durban. Both Pieter-Steph du Toit and Siya Kolisi are to be involved for the first time since facing France in 2013.
With de Villiers named at outside centre the in-form Jesse Kriel moves to the right wing. Marcell Coetzee will also start, replacing the injured Francois Louw while Vincent Koch is to play at tighthead prop in place of Jannie du Plessis. Both Marcel van der Merwe and Lwazi Mvovo come in to the reserves.
The visiting Pumas are having a day off training today.
