Final Match before Lemoine names World Cup Squad

The Uruguayan test team, are preparing to play for the final time at home before the Rugby World Cup. The number two ranked South American team will play against an Argentina XV on Saturday at the Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo.

Uruguay will be hosting a side missing Rugby Championship players making it a comparative side to that utilized in the World Rugby Nations Cup last month in Romania. Uruguay, in contrast, will be fielding a full strength lineup with Head Coach Pablo Lemoine naming his 31-man Rugby World Cup squad in the coming days.

Uruguay will depart South America for Japan and play test matches against the leading Asian country on August 23 and 29 before traveling to Spain to lay against a Basque XV. Los Teros will arrive in the U.K. on September 12 and play World Cup matches in both England and Wales.
