Bayonne announce 2015-2016 squad with two Pumas

Bayonne’s squad for the upcoming Pro d2 season has been announced. The Basque club is to retain the services of two of the three Pumas from last season. Current Puma Benjamín Macome and former wing / fullback Martín Bustos Moyano have been confirmed as playing next season for the club. Santiago Fernández, meanwhile, has departed for Pau.

Bayonne was relegated from the Top 14 last season after finishing in 13th place. In an effort to remain competitive a merger with neighboring Biarritz was studied but not welcomed by Bayonne supporters. Both former Top 14 clubs are now in the second division.
