2015 South American Under 19 Championship Details

The Sudaméricano Juvenil A (Under 19 South American Championship) will be played in Asunción, Paraguay next month. Played over three rounds from August 7-16 the four team tournament will involve South America’s second-fifth ranked teams Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

The 2014 tournament was hosted and won by Uruguay. Los Teritos were undefeated, winning the final 22-12 against Chile.

The competition is vastly important for all involved with the winner qualifying for the next World Rugby Junior World Trophy and the bottom placed side playing a promotion / relegation match against the winner of the South American B Under 19 Championship.
