World Rugby Review How South Africa and Argentina Reached 2007 Semi Finals

This week World Rugby’s ongoing retro series took a look into the third and fourth Quarter Finals matches during Rugby World Cup 2007. The two matches were played on Sunday October 07 with South Africa facing Fiji in the afternoon in Marseilles and Argentina taking-on Scotland in the evening in Paris.

On the previous day Australia had been knocked-out by England at Marseilles while France had earned the right to face England in the first Semi Final after eliminating New Zealand in Cardiff, Wales. Les Bleus were forced to play outside of France due to having failed to win their group. In their place Argentina played at the Stade de France against Scotland.
