Experimental Uruguayan team to face Emerging Ireland

Los Teros Head Coach Pablo Lemoine has made eleven changes to his team’s starting lineup for Wednesday’s round two fixture of the World Rugby Tbilisi Cup. Uruguay will play a non-capped fixture against Emerging Ireland in the Georgian capital and, in doing so, will be fielding an experimental side.

Following the opening round 19-10 defeat against Georgia Lemoine has retained only Agustín Ormaeceha, Leandro Leivas, Joaquín Prada and Santiago Gilbernau. Right winger Leivas has been named captain for the fixture. Among the notable returning players are Diego Magno and Mathias Palomeque, both of whom are likely starters in Uruguay’s opening World Cup fixture against Wales in Cardiff.
