NACRA Pools & Schedule Set

This weekend, 18 teams from across the North American Caribbean Rugby Association (NACRA) will compete for two coveted places in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Ten men’s teams and eight women’s teams are set to do battle at Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina this coming weekend.

Of the teams on hand, Canada and the USA head into the men’s bracket at the favorites to play in the championship while the USA women are the odds on favorite to win the women’s bracket. There are a number of teams that would like nothing better than to play spoiler and take a shot at Olympic glory. Even though there are some clear favorites in the tournament, there are also bragging rights up for grabs with the Caribbean nations in attendance.

Matches will be played at the main stadium pitch along with an adjacent field called Koka Booth Stadium.

All matches, on both fields, will be streamed live on USA Rugby TV.
