Video: Paraguay’s victory over Brazil

Paraguay completed a 21-10 away victory against Brazil earlier this month to finish in third place of the 2015 South American Championship. The result means Brazil must now face the CONSUR B winners Colombia later this year with the winner joining Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay in the 2016 South American Championship. With the outcome of the match, the Unión de Rugby del Paraguay (URP) has questioned why Paraguay is excluded from the new Pan-American Six Nations competition, projected to start next February. Overall Paraguay and Brazil have met on 22 occasions with each country having won 11 times. Prior to 2014 Brazil has won five in a row from 2008-2012.
