Paraguay’s Héroes de Curupayty to get upgraded Playing Surface

2020 has just begun and already it is the biggest in the history of Paraguayan rugby. With the Súper Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR) just two months away it has been confirmed that the playing surface of the national rugby stadium is to receive an upgrade.

The Union De Rugby Del Paraguay has confirmed the construction of the first synthetic playing surface in the country. It will be up to the World Rugby standards, thereby improving the already impressive surface the Estadio Héroes de Curupayty.

The Estadio Héroes de Curupayty will be one of the leading playing surfaces in South America and the same venue is to be where the Olímpia Lions play their home matches in the SLAR.
