In match two of the Rugby Weekend Triple-header Ireland faced Italy at Chicago’s Soldier Field. The men in green put on a superb display to easily defeat the central Europeans.
Their match was a week 1 fixture of the November Internationals. Both Ireland and Italy are to now host three matches each on their home turf. Ireland begin on Saturday November 10 against Argentina and will also face the USA, that game falling on Saturday November 24.
Italy’s home internationals will not involve a match against a country from the Americas. Italy begin with the highly-anticipated match against Georgia on Saturday November 10. They will subsequently play host to Australia and New Zealand.
