Following a lengthily process, which was open to the public, Sudamérica Rugby has decided upon a new logo as shown above. The new logo came about following the changing from CONSUR to Sudámerica Rugby earlier this year.
Present for the decision were Sebastián Mejía Gil (Colombian captain), Paula Ishibashi (Brazilian Sevens player), Pablo Lemoine (Uruguay Head Coach), Edison Avellaneda (Ecuador Player), Agustín Pichot (Americas Rugby President), Dominic Rumbles (World Rugby Director of Communications), and Carlos Barbieri (Sudamérica Rugby President).
